DAY 304: God Cannot Lie

"In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began." Titus 1:2

Have you ever wondered why God cannot lie? It really is amazing to ponder on the fact that there is something that God cannot do. In the very core of God's being is faith. When He talks, faith leaps out of His belly. The faith that comes from Him is the material that makes tangible stuff. If everything that comes out of His mouth consists of faith, then He cannot lie, because once it comes out of His mouth, faith creates the very thing He spoke.

God cannot lie.

From the moment He sets His heart to speak a thing, the creative power of faith begins to work. Although the thing He chose to speak did not exist at that moment, when He chose to speak it, it came into existence when faith was released. When you begin to grasp how awesome God is, it's easier to walk in His divine peace. The world may be going crazy around you, but you know that God cannot lie. He will remain faithful to you. He will keep every promise.
