DAY 297: The Old Rugged Cross

"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." 1 Corinthians 1:18

The roadway out of bondage dead ends into an old rugged cross, with a bleeding Savior and dying King shedding His blood for a dying world. Thank God, He shed His blood. The devil couldn't cross over that. He rose from the dead because the devil couldn't hold Him. Now He sits at the right hand of power, by the Father. He announces "All power in heaven and earth is given unto me." You've got to deal with that cross. It points to the right, and it points to the left and when you dead end into it, you've got to choose.

No matter how hard you try, you can't bypass the cross!

Reflect on the cross of Christ and remember where you would be without it.
